BERLIN
Everything about Berlin is so different to what I had imagined, the mixture of cultures make the city a melting pot of historical influences that give the city an overwhelming urban / ‘indie’ feel, with a touch of industrial.
The immense focus & love for art that Berliners’ share is what impresses me the most, as there are numerous enormous street art pieces that decorate the city’s older buildings breathing new life into a space that was otherwise unoticed & uncared for. As well as Berlins colourful role throughout hisorty i believe that this dedication to re-newing the old is what keeps thing city thriving, you will never find a dull moment here, from the nautical ‘club boats’ floating through Berlins famous canal, to the amazing array of authentic art & food in their Turkish markets.
Berlin has so much to offer not only from its day & night clubbing scene but also historical monuments such as the ‘holocaust museum’ an eye opening experience that you wont soon forget.
Berlin has happily surprised me with its unique, quirky culture -
Its a city full of surprises.
